  • More safety & visibility: Boost police presence, add community hubs, and limit overnight camping downtown.
  • Cleaner & more accessible: Add drop-off zones, staffed public washrooms, and improve waste collection.
  • Faster reporting: Expand 311 for quicker response to issues.
• Expanding support for the homeless and vulnerable populations
  • Permanent housing first: Expand year-round housing and emergency facilities with support services.
  • Decentralized services: Spread supports across Calgary to reduce pressure on downtown.
  • Integrated crisis response: Co-locate mental health and addiction teams with CPS for 24/7 expert intervention.
